Overview

FlowFactory is a Chrome extension that automates bulk prompt submission on Google Flow (labs.google/fx/tools/flow) and downloads the generated videos and images to your local device. Optional Pro features are unlocked with a license key validated through Gumroad. This policy explains what data the extension accesses, stores, and transmits.

Summary

FlowFactory keeps your prompts and generated media on your device and on Google Flow itself. The only data it ever sends to a third party is your Pro license key, which is sent to Gumroad to verify your purchase. The extension does not use analytics or tracking, and does not sell or share personal data.

Data Accessed and Stored

Prompts you type

• Your text prompts are read from the extension’s side panel and sent directly to the Google Flow tab in your browser.
• Prompts are sent only to Google Flow itself (which you are already using directly). They are not sent to the extension’s developer or any analytics service.
• Prompts are held in memory only for the current automation run and are not stored afterward.

Tab URLs

• The extension reads the URL of the active tab to verify you are on https://labs.google/fx/tools/flow before enabling automation.
• URLs are checked locally and are not logged or transmitted.

Generated videos and images

• Videos and images generated by Google Flow are downloaded directly to your local Downloads folder using the Chrome downloads API.
• This media is not uploaded to or processed by the developer or any external server.

Reference images you attach (Pro)

• If you attach a reference image to guide generation, it is passed only to the Google Flow page in your browser (the same place your prompts go).
• It is not sent to the developer or any other server, and is not stored by the extension after the run.

Settings and license data stored on your device

Saved locally with chrome.storage.local (stays on your device):

• Your selected language (EN, Hindi, Punjabi, or French).
• Pro preferences and feature selections (such as aspect ratio, style, batches, and download options).
• Your Pro license key and its cached validation status.
• Free-tier usage counters (such as the number of generations used today) and trial status.

Third-Party Service: Gumroad (license validation)

Pro is unlocked with a license key you receive when you purchase FlowFactory Pro through Gumroad.

• When you activate Pro, and periodically afterward to confirm the license is still valid, the extension sends your license key and the product id to Gumroad’s public license verification endpoint (https://api.gumroad.com/v2/licenses/verify).
• This is used solely to confirm your purchase is valid and active. No other personal data is sent to Gumroad by the extension.
• Your purchase and payment are handled by Gumroad as the seller of record. Gumroad’s own privacy policy governs the data you provide to them during purchase: https://gumroad.com/privacy
• If you do not use Pro, the extension does not contact Gumroad.

The extension does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Retention

• Prompts and generated media are not retained by the extension after a run (the files you download stay in your Downloads folder, under your control).
• Settings, license key, usage counters, and trial status remain in local storage until you remove them (for example by deactivating Pro, resetting, or uninstalling the extension).

Data Sharing

FlowFactory does not sell or share your personal data. The only outbound transmission to a third party is the license key sent to Gumroad for verification, as described above.

Children’s Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published in this repository with a revised “Last updated” date.
